In the last post, Network Marketing Success Requires One Thing, we talked about results and how our thoughts dictate the results we get. Now I want to go over what happens when your present results control your thinking.

When you permit your present results to control your thoughts, your income cannot and will not improve. The graphic here is a model of a person who is programmed to lose. This is what they do, they look at their present results and say, “Well, this is where I’m at, this is my reality, and it’s real”. They let bank account, their relationships dictate where they are.
They let their results control their thinking and their thinking controls their feelings and their feelings control their actions and as we’ve said before that those actions control the results. They get the same results. This is why people keep getting the same results time and time again. If you want to change the results you need to change the image first.
Here’s how we need to start changing the results in our life. What we need to do is to start thinking into results, regardless of our present results. We build and hold an image of what we want and we let the results dictate how we’re progressing.
The wants cause the feelings, the feelings cause actions, and the actions produce the results we want. Then we look at our results and say, “right on they’ve improved. I think I’ll build a bigger and better picture” and we go after a new goal.
That’s what we want to do in order to have network marketing success. We need to build the image of that success.
Start building this image of your success right now. Write it in as much detail that you can. Read it and write it over and over each time getting clearer and clearer. Get emotionally involved with that idea let it become a part of your being and you’ll be amazed at how fast your life begins to change.

Success in network marketing requires you to to develop the habit of persistence. In Napoleon Hill’s classic, Think and Grow Rich, he devotes an entire chapter to the word persistence. Hill says,
“There may be no heroic connotation to the word “persistence” but the quality is to a person’s charter what carbon is to steel.”
Later on in this post I’ll go over a 5 step process for persistence that you can easily apply today to move forward in your network marketing business, so read on.
Later in Think and Grow Rich Hill said,
“THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR PERSISTENCE! It cannot be supplanted by any other quality! Remember this, and it will hearten you, in the beginning, when the going may seem difficult and slow.
Those who have cultivated the HABIT of persistence seem to enjoy insurance against failure. No matter how many times they are defeated, they finally arrive at the top of the ladder. Sometimes it appears that they have a hidden Guide whose duty is to test them through all sorts of discouraging experiences. Those who pick themselves up after defeat and keep on trying, arrive – and the world cries, “Bravo! I knew you could do it!” The hidden Guide lets no one enjoy great achievement without passing the PERSISTENCE TEST. Those who can’t take it simply do not make the grade.
Those who can take it are bountifully rewarded for their PERSISTENCE. They receive, as their compensation, whatever goal they are pursuing.”
So, here are some things we can do right now in our network marketing business that will move us forward in being persistent.
5 Step Process for Persistence
Ask yourself these two questions…
#1 – What is the next step I need to take that will move me forward?
#2 – What is in the way or stopping me from taking that step?
After you’ve answered the above then…
#3 – Remove, disregard, let go of and release the obstacle
#4 – Take ACTION and take the step
#5 – Go back to number one.
A very simple method to keep you moving forward. I remember listen to Proctor tell us one time that to develop the habit of persistence one should take the chapter of Persistence from Hill’s Think and Grow Rich and read it every day for a month. In doing so you’ll be developing the habit of persistence.

Network Marketing Success requires that you can produce one thing… RESULTS.
Results is the name of the game, however many of us are not getting the results we desire in our network marketing business. Some of you may be doing okay, but still you want to improve your current results. We try and try, we work hard but remain and feel stuck. Why?
If I were to ask you to write down three things that you know how to do and if you did them you would improve the results you’re currently getting in your network marketing business, I’d be willing to bet that all of you could come up with at least three, some of you may be able to come up with five or six or even ten.
So if you know how to do better than let me ask you this…
Why aren’t you doing those things?
You see, the problem isn’t knowing what to do, we all know how to do better. The problem is, we’re not doing what we already know and if you want to have network marketing success you need to have an understanding of what is causing your current results.
To do this we need to talk about the mind and gain an awareness of how our mind works because it’s all about the mind. Now, pay close attention to what I’m about to go over because the idea I’m about to share could literally change your business and life.
Now, you and I think in pictures. If I were to ask you to think of your car you get an image of your car on the screen of your mind. You don’t see the word C.A.R. you see an image a snap shot of your automobile. If I ask you to think of your house, you see an image of your house, however if I ask you to think of your mind what image do you get? Most people will get an image of the brain, but the brain is not the mind anymore than our fingernail is.
Mind is movement and body is the manifestation of the movement. You see, when we have no picture we have confusion and out of confusion comes order and that’s what we want to do. We want to bring order to the mind. In order to this we’re going to need an image to work with so we’re going to use an image that was originated back in 1934 by a Dr Thurman Fleet of San Antonio Texas and is used in all LifeSuccess teachings. We’re going to let this big circle represent the mind and the little circle represent the body.
The mind is split up into two parts:
The Conscious Mind and The Sub-Conscious Mind.
Now, it’s vitally important that, if we want to have success in our network marketing business, we need to understand the difference between these two parts because they function totally different.
The conscious mind is where we get all the input from our outside world through our sensory factors, we can see, hear, smell, taste and touch. Ideas are constantly flowing into our conscious mind and in our conscious mind we have the ability to accept or reject any of the information that comes in. Our conscious mind is the filter to the sub-conscious. The conscious mind is also where we can originate thought, it is our thinking mind.
If we see in the paper or the news negative ideas about the economy or let’s say someone gives you a negative idea about the network marketing industry in general, we have the ability to reject these ideas. However, most people don’t think. They allow their conscious mind to accept these negative ideas and when they are accepted they move into the second part of the mind, the sub-conscious.
Now, the sub-conscious mind is our emotional or feeling mind. The ancient Greeks called it the heart of hearts. It has no ability to reject, it accepts all ideas presented to it and incorporates them into your beliefs. This is why it’s so important that we monitor the thoughts we have in our conscious mind and only let in those ideas that will move us forward in a positive way. The sub-conscious mind knows no difference between what is real and what is imagined.
If you build an image of the life you want, of having a successful network marketing business, and you impress that image into the sub-conscious and become emotionally involved with that idea, then the sub-conscious mind will set up a vibration in the body and move you in that direction through your actions.
So, it’s in our conscious mind that we choose our thoughts, those thoughts cause our feelings, those feelings are expressed through our physical body in our actions and it’s those actions that produce our results.
Most people are conditioned to look at their present results and think, that if they just change their actions then their results will improve. This is where so many people remain stuck. As we discussed earlier, we already know how to do better. We already know at least three things that will move us towards our goal, but those things are not in harmony with our current thinking so trying to just change the actions we’re taking is not going to help. You see, the actions are not the main cause. We have to ask what’s causing us to act the way we act. The actions are an effect. The real cause is in our thinking.
If we want to change our results then we need to start in the conscious mind. We need to start by building a crystal clear image of what we really want. Once we have that image we need to internalize that image, become emotionally involved with it and when we do we’re going to act a certain way which will produce the results we want.
So, if you want to improve the results you’re currently getting, start with your mind start inside. Work from the inside out and not the other way around.

Read this post again, watch the video. The more you read and watch this the more your awareness will start to grow. You can never watch and study this enough. Repetition, repetition is the first law of learning.

Attraction marketing is a form of marketing very popular on the internet, especially with home business owners and online marketers, where as prospects and customers are “attracted” to you like a magnet instead of you having to go after them. Instead of chasing down family and friends, buying genealogy list and making cold calls, instead of banging your head against the wall frustrated trying to find people, they find you.
You become very magnetic and attractive and in a sense YOU become the hunted instead of the hunter. Prospects and customers seek you out because they like you. These people know, like and trust you before, many times; you physically talk to them. When you’re in this position, doing business becomes easy – you’re already dealing with someone that you’ve built a relationship with.
Attraction marketing is not new by any means; it actually works in harmony with the Natural Laws of the Universe. The term “Attraction Marketing” was coined by Mike Dillard who, for 6 years struggled to build his network marketing business, going into debt, pawning his valuables for food when he gained an awareness of the art and science of attraction marketing. Mike took his awareness of what he learned applied it to his own business then he put it into a simple and easy to understand way for everyone and called Magnetic Sponsoring.
Now, earlier I mentioned that people do business with those they know, like and trust and with attraction marketing these people are already at these stages when they contact you for business, how?
A Simplistic Rundown of How Attraction Marketing Works
So, let’s take a look at how this process works. Let’s say Bill is frustrated with his current situation. He’s tired of his job, the lack of money he’s earning, the time he has to spend away from his family and kids. A good friend of tells him that he has a friend who has quit his job and is a independent distributor for this company called “XYZ Sciences” Bill who’s looking to create a new future for himself and his family goes on the internet to check it out.
Bill goes to Google and does a search on “XYZ Sciences” and a bunch of results come back. He clicks on one that is a review about “XYZ Sciences” it is a blog post by John. Bill reads the post and sees that John is offering to give Bill a free report on the “Top 10 things to Look Out for When Researching a Network Marketing Company”. Bill submits his name and email and receives the report which he finds very valuable.
Over the next several days Bill receives more valuable information from John. He gets to know him, like him and trust him. Finally Bill decides to call John and ask what he’s doing. After John discovers Bills wants are, he sees that Bill is a perfect fit for the company he’s a distributor with “ZYX Network”. Bill sees John as a leader and someone who can help guide him to success so Bill forgets about “XYZ Sciences” and joins John with “ZYX Network”.
The Mechanics of it All
What John did was create an attraction marketing system for Bill to go through and automated the process of building a relationship with him before ever speaking.
John’s system is simple. He had a blog or website where he put valuable content which, through proper blogging and SEO methods, Bill found on Goggle. John also had, on his blog, a way of giving Bill a free valuable report in exchange for bills name and email, so win-win. When Bill gave is contact information he automatically went into John’s autoresponder, a email follow up system, that John had already written a series of emails with valuable content that builds the relationship. These emails went out to bill on a predetermined schedule until Bill was ready to join and follow John.
Sounds simple, right? It is…
however simple does not mean easy.
How am I Supposed to Set this Up?
Now if you’re reading this and thinking, great I have no idea how to do that or what to use. It’s ok. You can find lots of valuable information right here on my blog that goes into or will go into these things in greater detail, however there are attraction marketing system already for you to plug into with no knowledge of building blogs or websites or even writing email. With some of them you can have your system up ready and receiving traffic within hours. It truly is amazing. I myself use one along with my own system which you’re on. Attraction marketing is really marketing by Law, not by luck.
